I’m excited to announce the release of my new song, “Lonely Abalone”. You can find it on
CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon, and   more.  “Lonely Abalone” is bluesy tribute to a marine creature once so popular in California coastal cuisine, it was eaten to near extinction. When a plant or animal species, like the abalone, is over harvested faster than it can reproduce, threatening its population, that’s called “overexploitation” — a word I use in my song.

Hi Friends!
    As I mentioned in my previous blog post, millions of Painted Lady butterflies migrated through Southern California, USA during the week of March 11. It was an incredibly exciting event! I’m so glad that we had planted butterfly habitats in our yard and neighborhood. The flowering plants provided lots of food for the butetrflies on their long migration.

Dear Friends,
    Thousands of PAINTED LADY BUTTERFLIES flew through my Southern California neighborhood on the morning of March 15th! I tried to kiss one, but they were much too fast! Some stopped in my backyard to feed.
