Learn more about Painted Lady Butterflies
Hi Friends!
As I mentioned in my previous blog post, millions of Painted Lady butterflies migrated through Southern California, USA during the week of March 11. It was an incredibly exciting event! I’m so glad that we had planted butterfly habitats in our yard and neighborhood. The flowering plants provided lots of food for the butetrflies on their long migration.
Below is an image filled with interesting facts about the painted ladies and their yearly migration. The chart was provided by the North American Butterfly Association. Click on the image to view it.
