“Poem for Mother Earth”

Dear Friends,
My heart is filled with love and gratitude for Mother Earth on Earth Day and every day. I feel it when I wake up to the songs and chatter of my neighborhood birds, when I walk mindfully in nature and take in its beauty, and when I eat with the awareness that my food is a gift from the soil, water, minerals, and sun. My actions to protect the Earth and every song I write begin with my deep love for this amazing planet we call home. I feel so grateful to be a part of Mother Earth and to share this love with you.
